　　I Don’t Belong Anywhere -  Le Cinéma de Chantal Akerman, explores some of the Belgian filmmaker’s 40 plus films. From Brussels to Tel-Aviv, from Paris to New-York, this documentary charts the sites of her peregrinations. An experimental filmmaker, a nomad, Chantal Akerman shares her cinematic trajectory, one that has never ceased to interrogate the the meaning of her existence. Thanks in great part to the interventions of her editor, Claire Atherton, she delineates the origins of her film language and her aesthetic stance.

　　亚美莉亚（玛格丽特·库里 Margaret Qualley 饰）雇佣了打手杰克逊（罗素·克劳 Russell Crowe 饰），委托他帮助自己摆脱正在监视自己的私家侦探霍兰德（瑞恩·高斯林 Ryan Gosling 饰），哪知道在完成任务的过程中，杰克逊发现，一个远比霍兰德危险得多的人亦在监视着亚美莉亚的一举一动，更糟糕的是，亚美莉亚随后失踪了，无奈之下，杰克逊只得再度找到霍兰德，要求他寻找亚美莉亚的下落。
　　之后，霍兰德的女儿霍莉（安格瑞·赖斯 Angourie Rice 饰）也加入了行动当中，随着调查的深入，越来越多的线索被联系到了一起，越来越多的角色被卷入这个巨大的阴谋之中。

　　大阪府茨木市——28岁的渡边雪子（前田敦子饰）和儿子彰夫（阿比留照太饰）在一栋木结构公寓里一起生活。这天，她收到了以前茨木高中的同学吉田创（白洲迅饰）的讣告。
　　曾在棒球部和吉田组成投接搭档的丰川大辅（高良健吾饰）以及一帮老朋友在遗体安放处集合在了一起。当年高中毕业后考上大学的大家都踏上了各自的人生道路。而在工厂上班的单亲妈妈雪子，支付房租都十分困难，显得抬不起头来。
　　高中时代曾是投手的吉田，在地方预选决胜赛中因为右手腕的伤病弃权，对棒球不再抱有念想。知道吉田这种想法的丰川，提出「想要带吉田再回一次茨高」的提议。大家抬着吉川的棺柩在茨木的大街上走过，久违地造访了母校，纷纷怀念过去。
　　因为为人热血的丰川和殡仪馆的人发生了争吵，他们一行人决定在学校里为吉川守夜。当和尚（栗塚旭饰）的诵经结束，就在终于要和吉田告别的时候——雪子对彰夫说出了真相。
　　「在这里面沉睡的人，是彰夫的爸爸哦……」
　　本片为大阪府茨木市建市70周年的纪念作品。剧本以3-18岁期间在茨木成长的日本首位诺贝尔文学奖得主川端康成的数部作品为原型。是以记录了回到茨木的少年时代的《十六岁的日记》，讲述在茨木中学（现府立茨木高中）就读时期的回忆的《肩扛老师的灵柩》、《少年》、描述少男少女难以名状的交往关系的《蝗虫与金琵琶》、诙谐散文风的《参加葬礼的名人》，可以欣赏到被称为「魔界」的「川端世界」的《一只胳膊》等为创作动机，将现实世界与幻想融合的独特的群像作品。

　　马库斯（Xavier Samuel 饰）与莉丝（Georgina Haig 饰），格雷格（Bob Morley 饰）与尼娜（Sophie Lowe 饰）这两对情侣相约驱车旅行。在荒凉寂静的国道上，他们与一辆巨型的卡车发生龃龉，继而被对方撞出国道。虽然侥幸逃生，但是格雷格遭遇严重骨折，危在旦夕。经过一番紧急施救，马库斯暂时为好友做好包扎。这时，他们发现那辆卡车正停在不远的地方，而司机不知去向。不久司机持枪向四人袭来，紧急关头，他们开走了卡车，而在恍惚迷离间马库斯将车开到一条绝路上来。他与莉丝一同去寻求帮助，中途二人发生争吵后走散，他们各自遭遇着恐怖的经历。
　　与此同时，格雷格偶然打开卡车货柜大门，出来后性情也似乎发生变化。这辆巨型卡车仿佛有着难以置信的魔力，正残酷吞噬这四个年轻人……
